Second time to eat here. Always so filling. Good portions for the price. Fave here are the Golden Empire Special Soup, Salted egg shrimp, salted egg squid, beef hofan. Reco to finish off with mango sago for dessert! Super refreshing after a hefty serving of Chinese food.

The place has been newly renovated, and it’s now brighter, cleaner, and more inviting—making it a wonderful spot to dine in. The food is fantastic! I especially loved the dim sum—everything from the Chicken Feet and Beef Ball to the Hakaw was delicious. If you’re a fan of congee, I highly recommend trying the Golden Empire Special Congee; it’s a must-try! The staff is friendly, attentive, and very accommodating, which adds to the pleasant dining experience. I’ve been here more than twice already, and it never fails to impress!

Excellent food, great service from Sir Jonard and Sir Joms. Chinese-Style Tenderloin was so soft soft and tender, Sweet and Sour Pork is well flavored. Dimsum is good.

It's my first time to go here and I really like the ambiance! It was neat, clean, and in fact looked quite classy. It was my post birthday celebration and I really was excited to try out authentic Chinese cuisine and they did not disappoint! The price range was around 150 (sa Isang order ng Dimsum) up to 400 (some solo orders) to 600 (small group order). Napasarap ako ng kain kaya di ko na picturan lahat. Just the first few dishes that first came out. So far these were what I liked: 1. DIM SUM - super yum! I had the Xiao Long Bao and the Bean Curd Roll. Since I'm allergic to shrimp, tinatanggal ko na lang kaya I was limited to these Dimsum. I had the Beef Meat Ball pero not as yummy as the two. 2. Golden Empire Noodle Soup - Loved this coz I can get to taste all the toppings available (except Century Egg). And dun ko na discover yung Beef nila na SUPER LAMBOT!!! Next time yan dapat noodle soup kukunin ko. Loved the noodles din 3. Yang Chow Rice - yes I know..typical na ang rice na ito pero the whole family agreed was napakasarap talaga ng rice. Lol Anyway what I did notice was ang daming Chinese na kumakain dito so I think that's a good sign. All in all it was a good Chinese Cuisine Experience!

Banaue area is the de facto Chinatown in Quezon city, its streets lined with Chinese restaurants big and small, grocery stores, tofu specialty shops. So choosing a good place for lunch was overwhelming! So I decided to call a Chinese friend who is a connoisseur and he recommended Golden Empire. And, yeah, we were not disappointed! Everything we ordered - fried shrimps in salted eggs, beef hofan, shrimp siomai, kuchay dumplings, and another dimsum whose name I forgot, mini manchang, stir fried greens, and of course, fried rice - were all delicious! Our meal was punctuated with “ hmmmm…” - contented as we were with our choices. Service was very efficient and the servers friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. All in all , a “ we’re coming back “ experience!

Wasn't able to take photos cos we stumbled upon this place by accident. We were pleasantly surprised on how great the food was, together with its reasonable price, accommodating staff and nice ambience. There's also parking which made it more appealing to us. We'll definitely come back here soon with family. :)

It a good place to have Chinese foods. But the time we went there the food was a bit salty. But overall it is ok. Hope they can maintain the quality of their food. Service was ok, but can be better. More power to the restaurant.
